Anthony has been living in the Washington Area and working as a photographer since the late 1980s. His photographs have been published in major newspapers, magazines and trade journals.

His interest in photography began at an early age. He won his first state award in photography at age 11. He graduated from a Boston area art high school and earned a B.A. from Clark University.

In the fall of 1998, Anthony relocated to the Washington suburb of Rockville, Maryland.
